NOTICE: A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MOUNT VERNON BOARD OF EDUCATION WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2010 AT 7:00 PM IN THE TYCC.

 

AFTER PROM: Any 9 – 12 student that wants to sell PaPa Murphy’s pizza cards need to stop in the office to pick up a sheet. We will be selling the cards from 3-8 thru 3-22. This will go towards the after prom trip. You need to have your sheet along with your money turned into the office by the end of the day on 3-22.

Anyone and everyone please join us for a great music and big fun while raising money for the Mitchell Area Safehouse!

Band Against Teen Violence playing are: Enola Mai, Quarter to Nine, Among the Decaying, Irony, and Tinshaw.

Ticket cost is $6.00

ONLINE STUDENTS – Sanford is having a Virtual School Care Career Exploration over the DDN three days in April. They will be showing a knee surgery, pediatric surgery and there will also be a tour. The tour will be from the National Institute for Athletic Health & Performance, and the Center for Youth Sports & Health. If you have taken a health related course this year you are able to participate in this opportunity. Please see Mrs. Block before the 19th if you are interested. The times for the sessions are 1:30 – 2:20 PM, so you will need to be dismissed from other classes to attend these sessions.

We would like to honor you all as seniors at this banquet.  The featured speaker will be Don Meyer, the NSU basketball coach who just retired earlier this year.  His message will be enjoyed by all, and you don’t want to miss this great opportunity.  All seniors are welcome to come individually, with your friends or with family.

 I.M.P.A.C.T. is again hosting rollerskating!   We will have rollerskating this Friday (March 19) in the old gym.  TImes/cost will be as follows; 

    Preschool only 6:00-6:30 Free

    Kind.-3rd grade  6:30-7:15  $1.00

    4th grade on up  7:15--9:00  $2.00

We will again have concessions.  If you have some music you would like played, feel free to bring along a cd.  Just make sure it is appropriate for all ages.  Thanks!  If you have skates, bring them too. If you don't, we have some available!  We hope to see you there!  We've missed all you crazy kids!
